Bayshore Marketing Group’s Founder, Laurie Stogniew, came up with the entire and unique concept of “Art Ties Us.”From an art contest, to a sold-out Gala supporting the Public Art Project, the inaugural event was a huge success. Thousands of art supporters in St. Petersburg and beyond voted on art submitted for the online contest. In a matter of 2 weeks the Art Ties Us website received almost 50,000 pageviews from 12,000 unique website visitors. The contest brought media attention to the arts and artist of St. Petersburg while connecting artists to sponsors, supporting restaurants, art enthusiasts and businesses. The Bayshore Marketing Event staff worked tirelessly on program ad sales, décor and centerpieces, sponsorships, the program video, the program schedule, and the run of show. They met with the restaurant partners and their executive chef’s; Birch & Vine, 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House, Stillwaters Tavern, 1200 Chophouse, MacDinton’s Irish Pub, and The Mill. Laurie worked closely with Duncan McClellan, who so generously donated his time and talent to create and present the top awards and the coveted Enso Award this year to Aaron Fodiman. To end the evening, neckties were made in the likeness of the winning art submissions and will be worn by the staff at The Birchwood for one year to further promote the arts and The Birchwood’s support of the arts in St. Petersburg.Bayshore Marketing Group is a full-service advertising agency in the Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg Florida area.
